Grace started working with various social service agencies and contributing her service to the community since year 2000. She has had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for South Fraser Women's ServicesSociety as well as the British Columbia Association for Marriage & Family Therapists.
She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Family Studies and a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. A degree in Family Studies provides her the knowledge of family structure, intergenerational relations, financial management for family, whole life span development, sexuality, effective parenting, children with development disorder and counselling. The MA Counselling Psychology program, she studied various forms psychotherapies including individual, group and family/couple; psychiatric pharmacology; mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
As a mental health clinician or psychotherapist, Grace strongly emphasizes brief and effective interventions. She regularly attends innovative training for professional development to keep her knowledge and skills up-to-date.
